I love your blog. . .it's always so well written!!! I didn't realize how much alike you and I are. . I could relate to every description, except the tribal belly dancing--where do we go to do that? Let me know, it sounds intriguing!!!!! Grace under pressure is a perfect descriptor for Dan. . .even with the loss of his mother, you are very blessed and I couldn't be happier for you!

Julie,
What a lovely post. I enjoyed reading it almost as much as I enjoy eating your chocolate creations. I can't wait to taste what your valentine treats will be.
Your description of Dan's mother was both beautiful and moving. You a truly a gifted writer also.

A talented writer as well! I'm sorry about your loss too, but know good things are ahead for you. Right now, my mind is trying to wrap itself around 500 lbs of chocolate...

So sorry to hear about your mother-in-law. We lost my father-in-law over the holidays as well. He had been very ill and lived 95 years so it was a peaceful passing and a blessing.

Excited to hear about the new digs and that you are doing well. Pomona Chocolates were the big hit at my Holiday Dinner for friends so you are now famous in Indiana as well! Now need to spread the word to New Jersey!

Best of luck to you in 2011. TOTT

Love, ValGal

So beautifully written, Julie! You have a way with words and with chocolates! I smiled as I read this post...mostly because I don't have any green thumb tendencies at all. But I can live vicariously thru yours!
I pray the harvest in your life is rich and abundant, my friend!
